A Wedding to Remember

“My favorite detail about this wedding was the bold colors used for the two ceremonies to bring in the bride and groom’s favorite color into the majority of the color scheme,” Sobi says.
When it comes to her signature style, Sobi wants her weddings to be incredibly memorable for everyone involved. “My wedding aesthetic is glamorous and classic. I love using metallic tones in my design style, but in a very sleek and modern way to tie in with any color scheme. I also take the venue selection made by the couple to match the design and style we want to work with, just to be sure that it is cohesive and coordinates with the ambiance of the event setting. Lastly, based on the season, we look into florals that are in season to select a color palette.”
Regal Wedding Love

“My favorite detail about this wedding was that it was in a brand new hotel and the first South Asian wedding hosted there. I liked the simplicity of the design, yet it was very glam.” Executing glamorous weddings that combine two cultures requires a certain level of expertise Sobi Qazi Weddings has acquired over years of experience. “There are many specifics you have to learn and experience for yourself to really be able to tie in traditions and culture from each side of the families,” she explains.
Beginning the wedding planning process can be admittedly overwhelming, Sobi realizes. “My advice as the first step would be to wait a month or so before you jump into the wedding planning process. Let it all sink in so it doesn’t just pass you by, because once you begin, it’s all that you can think about until it’s over! Second step: get your family together and discuss the guest list and set a wedding budget. Start off with making a first draft to the guest list and see if anyone needs to get cut from that list if you have not been in touch for more than two years. These two factors are the foundation and help determine the type of wedding you choose to have.”
