Kate accompanied soon-to-be newlyweds Morgan and Chris to a field in The Woodlands at sunset, capturing their genuine and playful love in her signature bright and airy style so beautifully! We love how the sunlight literally has this precious couple glowing, not to mention Morgan’s gorgeous makeup and flowing locks styled by Beauty Mark! Read on below to learn about Morgan and Chris’s love story and the strange connections they shared before they’d even crossed paths. Meant to be, that’s for sure! Cheers!

From the bride: “Chris and I were college sweethearts. We met in September 2015 while we were both at school at Baylor University in Waco,  Texas. One of my sorority sisters had invited me over to her apartment for a spaghetti dinner, and when I arrived, Chris was also there. Whether my sorority sister set us up on purpose or not, we still don’t know, but we are sure glad she did. That night, Chris’s fraternity was having a party, and he invited me to come. We spent the entire night talking and ended up exchanging phone numbers before the end of the night. A couple weeks later, he asked me on our first date, and we have been inseparable ever sense. This  November will be our 4-year dating anniversary.

One of my favorite things I like to tell people about our relationship is how strangely close our lives were to each other before we actually met. I believe Chris and I should  have met a lot sooner than we did. Chris grew up in the Waco area, and my grandparents, aunts and uncles also live in Waco. Soon after Chris and I met, we figured out that Chris’s mom lives down the street from my grandparents (like within 100 yards)! And all these years that I’ve spent holidays with my family at my grandparents’ house, Chris has been just down the street! There’s a few other strange things, too, but it makes me think that we were just supposed to meet each other.”
