Shades of blue and maroon in Abbie Seay and Blake Brougher’s engagement shoot with Swish & Click Photography is chic and intimate. Swish & Click Photography delivered the most beautiful engagement session that portrayed the love the couple shares beautifully. Abbie and Blake met in high school. However, Blake didn’t know Abbie because she was a few years younger, but Abbie always had a slight crush. During Abbie’s senior year of high school, Blake attended an alumni kickball tournament where Abbie and Blake played on the same team. After the tournament, the two began a friendship, eventually leading them to a date. After a few years of dating, Blake proposed to Abbie in such a romantic way. He told Abbie they had tickets to see the symphony but had a chance to go on a private tour of the Houston Museum of Natural Science before the show. During the tour, while looking at gems, the tour guide brought a small box. Inside the box sat the most beautiful three-stone engagement ring. Blake got down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life.
Abbie and Blake are planning an October modern and romantic wedding at The Homestead. With a black and white wedding with hues of burgundy, we know that their fall wedding is going to be stunning. The couple’s favorite detail for their upcoming wedding is their guest book. The couple is using a retro telephone called ‘At the Tone’ where guests can leave the couple a voicemail. Being able to play back and hear the voice of their guests is such a special and unique way for a guest book. We can’t wait to see more images of this beautiful couple! Cheers to the future Broughers!
