Describe this ceremony’s altar design.
This ceremony design is one for those who just love love.
How do you utilize the venue when styling an altar backdrop?
We used ceiling poles to incorporate string lights for this particular space. In addition, we used the height in the room to create more draping and make the room feel cozy.
What are your favorite elements to incorporate in an altar design?
Texture + Depth! Texture opens up so many more options to play around with, and depth can make the space feel full as you spread around your decor. That way, it gives the eye more to take in as well as more opportunities to showcase your design style.
What’s the best way to create a focal point where the couple stands?
Don’t forget about height! Depending on the couple’s height and the size of their wedding party, ceremony altars and decor can get lost pretty quickly. So adding taller elements to peek through gives a chance for it to shine off all your hard work and be seen by your guests and in photos.
How can a couple design an altar scene that is uniquely them?
Adding anything that shares your culture or religion to the ceremony is always a great option! We love adding personal touches because a personal touch highlights essential things to the couple and often honors family members and guests in attendance.
